Scope of works The project was to plan, design and carry out a complete electrical upgrade of the site. This included the installs of; Temporary generator including cabling and connections. A new 350kVA generator and removal of old. 1000 amp Auto changeover panel. Temporary 80kVA UPS. 3 x new 60 kVA UPS systems. Cabling, connections and containment for the 3 x UPS systems. LV Panel extension. New comms room, including AC & DC Distribution, cabling and connections. The upgrade of the main rectifier plant. All AC & DC cutovers of equipment onto the new systems. Working in the role of Principal Contractor, T James Electrical was responsible for all of the health and safety on site, as well as producing the Construction phase health and safety file.
