We are also registered with the Part P self-certification scheme of the Building Regulations, whose provisions are intended to increase the safety of households by improving the design, installation, inspection and testing of electrical installations in dwellings. The scheme was the outcome of the Construction Industry Deregulation Task Force’s recommended that electrical safety requirements be included in the Building Regulations to address the issue
of deaths and serious injury caused by accidents involving unsafe electrical installations in the home.
