Our Office Manager Emily has recently been accepted to run in the Great North Run on September 9th 2018.
Emily has always wanted to challenge herself by doing out of character events like this.
Emily is running to raise money for Macmillan nurses, as fundraising is hugely important to Macmillan. Without people doing events such as running marathons, climbing mountains, and donating in all the other ways that you can, Macmillan wouldn’t exist.

LED energy saving replacement fittings save local company around £82,000 per year
Providing UK businesses with energy saving lighting that gives a significant cost saving!
T James Electrical, electrical contractors based in Kettering have been really busy replacing old fluorescent fittings with new energy saving LED fittings for a reputable auto parts firm at one of their main warehouses.
The installation consisted of 344 T5 fluorescent light fittings being removed and replaced with 305 LED tamlite expo fittings, which are PIR controlled and have a daylight dimming function.
The projected annual cost savings of the project was 77%. Worth around £82,000 in savings a year, leading to the project having a payback period of 2.2 years.
This installation led to the firm having a projected annual energy saving of 61%, saving around 173 tonnes of C02 every year, making them more environmentally friendly whilst also enhancing heir efforts in corporate social responsibility.

Kettering based electrical contractors T James Electrical have been busy installing an electric charging point in the local area.
There has been a higher demand recently for electric vehicle charging facilities.
One of T James Electrical‘s leading clients were looking to expand their company vehicles and chose the electric vehicle route.
This enabled them to to be more environmentally friendly and to get ahead of the change in the way we power our vehicles.
After contracting our contracts manager, this job was taken from initial enquiry to completion in less than 2 weeks.
This EV charger was fitted at a commercial property for staff and visitors to use.
T James Electrical supplied and installed one 11kW 3 phase type 2 rolec EV charger.
