Much has changed in the 60 years since T James (Electrical) was founded – within the industry and within the company itself.
The late Tony James started a small family business in Broughton in 1957, concentrating mainly on domestic work, growing the business steadily, moving to Regent Street in Kettering in 1973. Following Tony’s death in 1996, current owner and former T James (Electrical)
apprentice Simon Turner decided to buy the company and has seen it grow year on year since, now employing over 60 staff and based in purpose-built premises in Regent Street, not far from its former home.
Over the years, T James (Electrical) LTD has focused on staying one step ahead in the electrics business, embracing new technologies such as LED lighting and energy saving measures as they arrived on the scene and today are specialists in larger corporate projects in hospitals, factories and industrial premises and care homes, to name just a few. What hasn’t changed is the company’s work ethic and dedication to customer satisfaction, which remains an important part of its guarantee of quality.
Highly qualified teams offer installation, energy saving lighting packages, electrical testing and telecommunications systems. T James (Electrical) prides itself on it’s high quality service and electrical expertise, together with fit-for-purpose equipment and materials. The company’s aim is to ensure that its service, equipment and materials have the quality and reliability to fully meet customer requirements, satisfying them on time, every time. To help achieve this aim, the company has implemented a Management System which meets the requirements of BS EN ISO 9001:2000.
The company recognises its responsibility to environment protection and will always seek to minimise the impact of its activities on the environment and gives a high priority to the work environment and the safety of all of its employees. All work complies with the current electrical installation regulations.
Installation Installations can be include domestic work, industrial systems for warehouses, distribution centres, factories, workshops and manufacturing units, and in commercial settings such as shopping centres, bars, leisure facilities, nursing homes and museums, as well as for social, commercial, residential, communal and share housing.
